Move this section showing how to configure a TFTP server to tftpserver It is my understanding that cars purchased before the owners manual changes are still covered by warranty (when flat towed), but you're rolling the dice and taking your chances. The owners manuals for the affected cars are now including an insert stating the non-towability, and the cars now being purchased are not covered by warranty if the owners try to flat tow them. My assumption is that since there are still cases of transmission failures, even with the lowering of the fluid level, that Ford has just thrown up their hands and declared these affected cars as non-towable. Ford has even suggested installing a transmission pump to keep the fluid flowing, and therefore cool (Remco has come up with a pump specifically for the Escape and the 6F35 transmission). Many people have had success with this alteration, but there have still been some cases of fried trannys. Supposedly this would prevent the ATF from foaming, being forced out the dipstick tube (due to heat buildup), and eventually ruining the transmission. It seems that after a number of toasted transmissions, Ford decided (with TSB 11-7-15) that so long as the tranny fluid level was lowered to just above the fill mark, these affected cars were still towable. This is the tranny that has caused all the grief (and confusion) with regards to flat towing. The V-6 Escape (both FWD and AWD) have the 6F35 (6-speed) transmission. But, so was the non-hybrid Escape- and clearly that has been "revisited".Īfter much digging around, on these forums along with others, I think I've got a handle on what the real situation is. I can tell you that the Escape hybrid was originally listed as TOWABLE 4 wheels down. I have no idea (either way) if the hybrid has the same issues as the other Escapes. they don't even have a copy of the Owners Manual Addendum that says some models are not towable)! Use the new Apple Photos Migrator to easily migrate your Apple Photos library into Lightroom CC on your desktop. Please get in touch if you’re interested in working with us. We’re building out the Connector service to have a full menu of third-party services (like photo labs, photo book printers, and others). The new Share tab gives you an easy way to browse and access shared albums and images that you made through .Īs part of the new Share tab, you can also share albums directly to your portfolio hosted on Adobe Portfolio from within Lightroom CC using the new Connector feature. Lightroom CC provides suggestions for metadata like cameras, lenses, aperture, ISO, locations, keywords, and more. Get better search results with automatic search suggestions provided to you as you type in the search box. Lightroom CC automatically tags people in photos and provides you with an easy way to see all the photos the person appears in. Quickly find the people you care about with Adobe Sensei-powered People View. (Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, and ChromeOS) Helping you organize and showcase your best photos has always been an integral part of Lightroom, and today we’re rolling out new features that help you even more: find the photos that you care about more quickly and efficiently, so that you can edit and share them with less effort. Heading into this year’s Adobe MAX, we’re excited to review the new features we’re introducing across our products in greater depth. In the most recent release, in August, we added improvements to offline editing in Lightroom CC for Mac and Windows, as well as filtering improvements in Lightroom for iOS, an updated Optics tab to support lens corrections in Lightroom Android, and new book types in Lightroom Classic CC. We also added batch copy and paste to Lightroom CC for Mac and Windows, and the Healing Tool to Lightroom CC for iOS and Android. Then, in June, we introduced the ability to synchronize Presets and Profiles throughout the Lightroom CC ecosystem. In April, we introduced the new Profiles feature into Lightroom CC, Lightroom Classic, and Camera Raw, providing new ways to render photographs while also offering new creative approaches. The February release focused on performance and stability across the Lightroom CC ecosystem, and a number of changes to the core architecture resulted in significant performance gains in Lightroom Classic. The Curve and Split Toning tools were also added to Lightroom CC for Mac and Windows. In December, we added an optimized version of Auto to Lightroom CC, Lightroom Classic, and Camera Raw using an advanced neural network powered by Adobe Sensei. These updates follow a year of significant releases across the entire Adobe photography ecosystem since the last Adobe MAX. Today, we’re proud to announce updates to the entire Adobe photography ecosystem, with updates to Lightroom CC for Mac, Windows, iOS, Android, ChromeOS, and the web, as well as Lightroom Classic and Camera Raw, all available now. Be aware that you’ll need an asset downloaded to color tag it. You can multi-tag assets with a color label by selecting several thumbnails and clicking the small grey icon in the bottom right corner of the asset thumbnail. There’s no limit to how many windows can be generated. This would create a new instance of the Library window, which is useful for having multiple asset folders open and in view. Generate multiple Library windows from the main toolbar by going to Window > Library (or holding down Shift+Ctrl+L). Here are some handy filtering and viewing tips to follow. When working with the Library, you can filter and color tag your assets using the filtering toolbar to speed up your search and management process. If an asset does not exist locally, it will be downloaded. Type the name or tag by which the asset can be found. However, you’ll only see material-based results if you’ve chosen the Materials sub-folder.Īll assets in the Library have tags associated with them, which means that you can enter a description of what you’re looking for at the Library root level, and it will show related results. Typing “Dirt” at the Library root level will show all the dirt-related assets. Be mindful that the search considers which folder you have selected in the hierarchy. Searching for assets is as simple as typing a keyword into the Library’s search bar and hitting Enter. But with that speed, ease and long list of features, I’d heartily recommend it to anyone in need of a speedy and intuitive PBR real-time renderer. You can use the Library’s search toolbar to find and navigate the folder hierarchy on the left-hand side to find content. I’d have given it a 5 rating if it weren’t for some of the clunkiness in the baker UI. Toolbag is a staple in my day-to-day workflow. With this attention to detail and user requests, Marmoset Toolbag 3 is a steal. It also has a cool little feature that lets you hook up your turntable to the animation you’re working on, in effect allowing for multiple turntables at various speeds in your scene.Īdd to that the fact you can now import TBSCENE formats into Unreal, a glTF exporter, lots of lighting and shadow improvements, not to mention fog, a shadow catcher and a good, standalone 360 WebGL viewer that works with anything from WordPress to ArtStation, and you have a crazy solid PBR rendering package at a fraction of the price of KeyShot or Clarisse.ĭespite its limited functionality compared to other applications, it should be taken into account that whatever Toolbag does, it does it very well. It’s pretty intuitive as well – you can import your animation or set one up from scratch, and if you’ve animated in any of the mainstream animation packages, you’ll feel right at home in the editor. While a toolkit like this won’t ever provide the entire range of animation features like Max, Maya, Houdini, iClone and the like, it will let you animate small to medium scenes, and excels at it, meaning you can do anything from dioramas, interiors, exteriors and single to multiple figure animations. Keyframes are only applied to the currently selected object Its poor sensitivity for distinguishing mild cognitive impairment (MCI) is well-described and can be attributed to a lack of complexity as well as the absence of executive function items. One problem with the MMSE is its ceiling effect or limited dynamic performance range for normal individuals, which increases the likelihood that persons in predementia stages score within the normal range (24 and above). The MMSE is also commonly used as a proxy for staging of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Though there are a number of possible tests, they recommend the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), the most widely used cognitive screening test used by physicians for general cognitive evaluation, and also the newer Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). Galvin and Sadowski recently wrote clinical recommendations for primary care physician evaluation of older patients for cognitive impairment, emphasizing the need to look for early warning signs where formal cognitive testing can aid detection. Office-based, multi-domain cognitive tests are commonly administered in clinical situations to evaluate patients with cognitive impairment. MoCA scores are translatable to the MMSE to facilitate comparison. Functional assessment can help exclude dementia cases. A cutoff of ≥17 on the MoCA may help capture early and late MCI cases depending on the level of sensitivity desired, ≥18 or 19 could be used. MoCA and MMSE were more similar for dementia cases, but MoCA distributes MCI cases across a broader score range with less ceiling effect. Mean FAQ scores were significantly higher and a greater proportion had abnormal FAQ scores in dementia than MCI and HC. The core and orientation domains in both tests best distinguished HC from MCI groups, whereas comprehension/executive function and attention/calculation were not helpful. ROC analysis found MoCA ≥ 17 as the cutoff between MCI and dementia that emphasized high sensitivity (92.3 %) to capture MCI cases. Equi-percentile equating showed a MoCA score of 18 was equivalent to MMSE of 24. MoCA and MMSE scores correlated most for dementia ( r = 0.86 versus MCI r = 0.60 HC r = 0.43). The ceiling effect (28–30 points) for MCI and HC was less using MoCA (18.1 %) versus MMSE (71.4 %). Most dementia cases scored abnormally, while MCI and HC score distributions overlapped on each test. Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) analyses evaluated lower cutoff scores for capturing the most MCI cases. Equi-percentile equating produced a translation grid for MoCA against MMSE scores. Functional Activities Questionnaire (FAQ) was evaluated as a strategy to separate dementia from MCI. Stepwise variable selection in logistic regression evaluated relative value of four test domains for separating MCI from HC. Methodsįor this cross-sectional study, we analyzed 219 healthy control (HC), 299 MCI, and 100 Alzheimer’s disease (AD) dementia cases from the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI)-GO/2 database to evaluate MMSE and MoCA score distributions and select MoCA values to capture early and late MCI cases. Clinicians need to better understand the relationship between MoCA and MMSE scores. The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) was developed to enable earlier detection of mild cognitive impairment (MCI) relative to familiar multi-domain tests like the Mini-Mental State Exam (MMSE). The 2,100-member American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, whose members specialize in cosmetic surgery, said the show "does a disservice to millions of patients who benefit from cosmetic procedures." "There's no realism in it at all, from beginning to end," Rohrich said Monday, between a facelift and a breast augmentation. The 5,000-member American Society of Plastic Surgeons, which includes both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeons, called it "sensational, bordering on the absurd." 4-10, according to Nielsen Media Research.īoth cosmetic surgery associations, however, have denounced it. EDT, was the 11th-ranked cable show for the week of Aug. The show also looks at "reasons in our culture people feel so terrible about themselves," Murphy said. In one episode, a transvestite is given a free sex-change operation. In brief: A daring drama takes a gory, but compelling, look at the world of plastic surgery. The fictional surgeons do have ethical lapses, he said, but they also do good. That’s a truth to which we as a society have a long history of closing our eyes. I like the way this series cuts to the moral bone and ties so much of the evil men and women do to our culture’s excessive materialism, commercialism and obsession with appearances. (The gators like ham more than human flesh, one character explains.) And it gets even gorier.īut, just as it was with The Shield, the gore here mostly seems justified to make the series’ larger points – in this case, about human flesh and the horrors that can be visited upon it by doctors and others not listening to their better angels. A corpse is “sweetened” with 10 hams tied to it and then left at the edge of a swamp for the alligators. Another man having liposuction of his midsection is killed on an operating table, and the liquid, yellow fat being sucked from his belly spews wildly around the room, drenching everyone. One man is tortured with almost a dozen injections – one after another – of botox into his face. Naked female bodies are marked up like sides of beef to show where various incisions will be made. The experience almost kills them.Īs for the viewing experience, members of the audience need to know that they will see repeated close-ups of flesh being sliced and blood flowing freely. He and his partner have their faces rubbed in it until they can no longer look away. Troy can’t resist the money, but this time, he can’t avoid the stench of where it comes from either. In the pilot, Troy’s greed allows all sorts of trouble through the front door of McNamara/Troy in the person of a Colombian drug dealer who wants to have his appearance radically altered so that he can avoid law-enforcement officials. Neither is quite at the stage of Tony Soprano panic attacks, but Sean, at least, is having major psychological issues. They built the business from nothing, and now at the start of middle age when they should be enjoying the fruits of the good life, things are starting to come unraveled from the inside out. Sean McNamara and Christian Troy, best friends since medical school and now partners in McNamara/Troy, a thriving plastic-surgery practice in Miami. Nip/Tuck stars Dylan Walsh and Julian McMahon as Drs. This is a series with the capacity to both entertain and make you think – if you don’t miss too much, that is, by turning away from the screen or closing your eyes because of all the violence and gore. There’s a cultural resonance, too, in the way that concepts of beauty, appearance, affluence, abundance and transformation in American life are wisely explored. The script features a skillfully crafted variation of the buddy-film narrative that takes two male partners, breaks them up and then brings them back together once they’ve been bloodied and wizened. I thought I couldn’t care less about the milieu until I saw the pilot. Nip/Tuck is a medical series set in the world of plastic surgery in Miami’s South Beach. And, hard as it might be to imagine, the network has an even more graphic, bloody and daring drama premiering tonight. That willingness to take risks helped The Shield, FX’s intensely violent and morally ambiguous cop drama, cut through the clutter two years ago.
